OnePlus has finally launched its flagship smartphone – OnePlus 13 – in China. It is one of the first devices to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite. Apart from this, the phone also has a large 6,000mAh battery, which is much better than its previous model. Although OnePlus 13 has been launched only in China so far, it is speculated that it will arrive in the global market in the coming months. In India, the phone is expected to launch in January 2025.

OnePlus 13 specs
The OnePlus 13 deviates from the curves of its predecessor, featuring a quad-curved design that gives it a flat appearance with minimal curves around the edges. The result is that it's a slightly smaller phone, yet with a 6.82-inch display.
It features BOE's X2 OLED display, an 8T LTPO panel with 1440p resolution and a 1-120 Hz refresh rate. Normal brightness is 800 nits, while peak brightness can reach 4,500 nits. It also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
According to the company, a standout feature is the new vibration motor, which is designed to deliver “gaming controller level feedback” and is the largest vibration motor ever in an Android device. The OnePlus 13 also introduces a new IP69 rating, which is gaining popularity among Chinese flagship devices.
On the back, the OnePlus 13 sports three Hasselblad-branded 50-megapixel cameras: a main camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor and OIS, a 3x periscope lens (LYT-600) with a 73mm equivalent focal range, and a rear camera using Samsung's S5KJN5 sensor. 15mm equivalent ultrawide camera, which also functions as a macro lens. Also, the phone has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
It runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 for the Chinese market, with international versions expected to feature OxygenOS 15. The device is powered by a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
