OnePlus is bringing a new tablet with 13,380mAh battery: Premium design shown in the teaser, you will get these special features
OnePlus has started teasing its new premium tablet in India, increasing expectations of its soon launch. Although the company has not yet revealed the name and all the specifications, but the teaser image has definitely given a glimpse of its design and flagship features. It is believed that this tablet can be the successor of OnePlus Pad 3 launched last year.
Looking at the design shown in the teaser, it is being speculated that this tablet may be quite similar to the upcoming OPPO Pad 5 Pro. The camera module and three-pin connector layout appear to be almost the same, leading to speculations that OnePlus may once again rebrand OPPO’s tablet and introduce it in the Indian and global markets. If this happens, then this device could be a rebranded version of OPPO Pad 5 Pro, in which some minor changes may be seen.
Confusion regarding launch timeline and name
One interesting thing about this upcoming tablet is its name. It is generally believed to be OnePlus Pad 4, but the company may also skip the number “4” due to superstition in some markets. In such a situation, it can also be named OnePlus Pad 5.
Apart from this, according to reports, the official launch of OPPO Pad 5 Pro is also going to take place in China on April 21, which clearly indicates that this OnePlus tablet can also be based on the same hardware.
Possible specifications (as per leaks)
If this tablet turns out to be a rebranded version of the OPPO Pad 5 Pro, then it may have a larger 13.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200. For performance, it is likely to have Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
As a camera, it can have a 13MP rear camera, while for power backup, a large 13,380mAh battery can be provided, which will support 80W fast charging. Apart from this, this tablet can also come in premium color options like Dawn Gold, Mocha Brown and Monet Purple.
What will be special?
This tablet will directly target the premium segment. With a large display, high-end processor and huge battery, this device could be especially suitable for users who want a powerful tablet for gaming, multitasking and media consumption.
However, this will be the flagship tablet of OnePlus, so its price is also likely to be in the premium range. If you’re looking for a budget or compact tablet, it might be worth taking a look at other options before its launch.
