At the launch event on April 7, the Nord 6 not only assures long battery life but will also offer a complete package with performance, display, and AI features. The availability of this model will be only on Amazon, and the company has already revealed many of its features.

Battery: key features

OnePlus has shared many important features of the Nord 6, of which its 9000mAh battery is the center of attraction. This battery is much larger than the 6,800mAh battery of the Nord 5, and the company claims that this smartphone can last more than 2.5 days on a single charge. However, no information has been given yet about the charging speed of the new model.

Smooth display experience

Nord 6 will get a 1.5K AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, which will provide smooth gaming experience up to 165fps for games like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile. Its display will have a peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits, which makes it even more attractive.

In terms of design, the Nord 6 sports a square-shaped camera module, which is different from the pill-shaped design of the previous model. The design appears to be inspired by OnePlus’ flagship phone OnePlus 15.

Significant upgrade in durability

This time Nord 6 is also a step ahead in terms of durability. It includes IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water protection, making the phone safe from dust, water and high-pressure water. Additionally, Crystal Guard Glass has been used to protect the display, which is as strong as the flagship level Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

Camera setup: balanced and reliable

For photography, dual camera setup has been provided in Nord 6, which includes 50MP Sony Lytia primary camera and 8MP ultra-wide camera. Dual Axis OIS support is also available in this back camera, which provides better stability. It will have a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

OnePlus Nord 6 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 of the previous model. This processor will improve CPU and GPU performance, which will improve the gaming and multitasking experience. This smartphone will work on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, which will also include many powerful AI features.
