However, a major disadvantage of this is that this facility is not available for everyone. Also, this number plate does not apply to vehicles used for commercial or transport purposes.

How to get BH number plate?

To get BH number plate one has to first log in to Vahan portal of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). Form-20 has to be filled there, while those working in the private sector also have to fill Form-16. Employee ID and work certificate must be submitted along with the application.

After this the concerned authorities check your eligibility. After completion of verification you have to select BH option in number category. Necessary fee has to be paid after getting approval from RTO. After paying the fee your vehicle is assigned a BH series number.
