Onsite Infosys Employees Will Get Single Digit Hike; High Performers In India Will Get More Hike

This piece of news is especially for the Infosys employees who are eagerly awaiting to get a salary hike as the Chief Financial Officer Jayesh Sanghrajka has announced an important update.

Infosys Announces Salary Hike

As per this announcement, the second largest IT services provider in India will soon start rolling out salary increments for its employees.

On this occasion, Infosys CFO, Jayesh Sanghrajka talked about the IT company’s fresher hiring plans further confirming that they are on-track.

Adding, “If you look at the headcount, we are on-track in terms of headcount or the fresher hiring this year, we will be hiring 15,000 plus.”

The Bengaluru based company is targeting 20,000 plus fresher hiring at this point-in-time For FY26.

While talking about the salary hikes, the CFO  stated that salary hike or salary increment will be in a single-digit for India employees.

The CFO Sanghrajka shared that their comp roll-out is going to happen in two phases while addressing the media after the announcement of Infosys Q3 FY25 results.

Its first phase started from January 1, and the second phase will start from April 1.

Adding, “the India wage increases would be, on an average, 6% to 8%.”

Further, Infosys CFO Sanghrajka stated, “Of course, the higher performers would get much higher, etc., and the overseas would be low single digit. We have not really called out the margin impact on account of that.”

As per this development, most of the employees will get a comp increase in the fourth quarter of FY25.

Infosys Fresher Recruitment Plans For 2025

While talking about the requirement plans for the company, the CFO said that the IT company’s fresher hiring plans are on-track.

Adding , “If you look at the headcount, we are on-track in terms of headcount or the fresher hiring this year, we will be hiring 15,000 plus.”

The IT service provider is targeting 20,000 plus fresher hiring at this point-in-time for FY26.

CFO Sanghrajka said, “We do not really give our outlook in terms of the lateral hiring, that is dependent on multiple factors, how the demand grows, how the attrition pans out, etc., etc. And it is also a factor that over the years, we have now moved to a very agile hiring model. So, we can pretty much fill this in India in two to three months, onsite in less than a month in terms of the demand.”

Earlier, this Bengaluru-based IT giant has added 5,591 workers in the December 2024 quarter over the September quarter.
