Open the Strait of Hormuz immediately… Trump again threatens Iran with an attack on a power plant

New Delhi. Amidst claims of talks with Iran, Trump has once again threatened to attack Iran’s oil and power plants. Trump has said that Iran should immediately open the Strait of Hormuz, otherwise the US will completely destroy its power plants, oil wells, and Kharg Island by blowing them up.

“The United States is in serious negotiations with a new and more sensible regime to end its military operations in Iran. Considerable progress has been made, but if for any reason an agreement is not reached soon – which it is likely they will be – and if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately opened for trade, we will end our stay in Iran by blowing up and completely destroying all of their power plants, oil wells, and Kharg Island,” Trump wrote on his social media site, Truth Social.

Trump threatens again
Trump further wrote, “This will be revenge for the many of our soldiers and others who have been brutally killed and murdered by Iran during the old regime’s 47-year reign of terror.” Meanwhile, Iran has threatened to target the homes of American and Israeli officials. Ibrahim Zulfiqari, spokesman for Iran’s Joint Military Command, said that the residences of American and Israeli officials can now be considered legitimate targets.

It’s worth noting that tensions between the United States and Iran continue to escalate. The war has entered its 31st day, but neither side is willing to back down. However, Trump claims that negotiations with Iran are ongoing and a solution could be reached soon.

Iran has said it is not seeking to acquire nuclear weapons, but is considering a decision to remain a party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai said the Islamic Republic of Iran has never sought to acquire nuclear weapons, nor has it ever attempted to do so.
