Operate library and coaching only after meeting the standards.

Ambedkarnagar. An orientation workshop was organized for the coaching and library operators of the district under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Isha Isha Priya in the Collectorate Auditorium. In this, people were made aware and motivated about the operation of coaching institutes, registration, safety standards, student interests and guidelines set by the government. The District Magistrate said that the aim of education is not only to ensure success in examinations but to ensure all-round development of the students. All coaching and library operators should follow the safety standards set by the government. Instructed to provide a safe, disciplined and positive educational environment to the students. Said that as per the prescribed standards, it is mandatory for every coaching institute to be registered through the competent authority.

Institutions with more than one branch will have to register each branch separately. DM said that it is necessary to get renewal done before the expiry of the time period. It is necessary for all coaching institutes to have basic facilities like fire safety and building safety certificate, adequate lighting and ventilation, clean drinking water, first aid, CCTV and separate toilets for students. Safety and comfort of students should be on top priority. It was clarified that no coaching institute should be operated in the basement. Coaching institutes operating in the residential building category should get converted to commercial category by completing the standards set as per rules and applying with the forms in the concerned Municipality/Nagar Panchayat/District Panchayat.

District School Inspector Kaustubh Singh made a detailed presentation of the registration of coaching centres, fixed fees, necessary records, regulatory provisions and guidelines of the government. Also resolved the queries of the coaching operators present. On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Jyotsna Bandhu, District Basic Education Officer, Executive Officer N.P.P. Officials of Fire, Electricity, District Panchayat, Secondary Education Department including Akbarpur, coaching and library operators of the district and officials of related departments were present.
