Oppo A3x launched in India with military-grade, IP54 rating

Delhi Delhi: Oppo has introduced A3x smartphone in India. The new Oppo A3x is a 4G smartphone, so while it may not appeal to buyers who want high internet speeds, its certification for military-grade durability will give them peace of mind. The company claims that the phone remains safe even against accidental drops and can withstand extreme climatic conditions. The new smartphone also has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, providing overall protection to users.

The A3x comes in two versions. The one with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs 8,999, while the model with 128GB internal memory is priced at Rs 9,999. Customers can purchase the smartphone in Nebula Red and Ocean Blue colors from Amazon and Oppo's online store.

Specifications of Oppo A3x

Durability and water resistance are the main selling points of the Oppo A3x. As mentioned, it has MIL-STD-810H military grade shock resistance, as well as “multiple liquid resistance”, which the company claims allows the phone to withstand water as well as coffee and soup.

Keeping the light running is a 5100mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging. Oppo claims that the battery can go from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes when charged using the bundled charger. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Standard connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
