The LPG delay was blamed on government mismanagement as 85-90% of India’s LPG imports stopped due to Iran-Israel-US conflicts. Prime Minister Modi appealed for calm at a rally in Tamil Nadu, promising various supplies and deliveries in two days, while production has been increased by 10% through emergency refinery orders that prioritize households. But the opponents criticized that this was not enough and that it was a rabbit hole of India during the war.

Also, the opposition has criticized that the country’s foreign policy has failed and ordinary families have been affected. During the protest, Rahul Gandhi mocked Prime Minister Modi’s absence from Parliament, linking it to the Adani fraud allegations and references to the Epstein file. Gandhi alleged that the prime minister was scared because of the Epstein files case and the Adani case in the US. Several opposition MPs, including him and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, have made the allegations during protests in Parliament.
