Orry hits out at Dhruv Rathee over Janhvi Kapoor video drama
Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani, isn’t holding back when it comes to defending his friend Janhvi Kapoor.
The content creator took to social media after YouTuber Dhruv Rathee posted a video claiming that Janhvi and a bunch of other Bollywood stars have gone under the knife.
“She probably doesn’t even know who he is,” the influencer joked, playfully jabbing at the YouTuber while showing full support for the actress.
For the unversed, Dhruv’s video, The FAKE Beauty of Bollywood Celebritiesnames actors like Janhvi Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Shruti Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Shilpa Shetty, Kajol, and Priyanka Chopra, alleging they’ve had plastic surgery, botox, fillers, or even skin lightening treatments.
Janhvi’s face even made the thumbnail, with supposed “before and after” images. Not surprisingly, it sparked a major debate online.
The social media star also pointed out the timing of the video. Just a few hours before Dhruv’s post, Janhvi had shared an Instagram Story condemning the mob killing of Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh.
“The guy makes a video about her looks just after she posts something serious,” Orry said.
Moreover, he called Dhruv “anti-nationalist” and mentioned that he’s just chasing attention. “I myself only know him as that anti-nationalist who complains about not getting papped at a train station despite having followers,” Orry added.
However, this isn’t the first time Dhruv’s videos have caused a stir. His review of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, also faced backlash, with him alleging the film spreads propaganda.
