CIA report 15 years after Osama bin Laden’s death created a sensation! So would the Al-Qaeda leader be alive?

Official records released by the CIA also reveal that bin Laden was not only planning the escape from his hideout, but at the same time he was also actively controlling al-Qaeda’s operations from the compound in Abbottabad.

According to CIA documents, letters recovered from the compound show that bin Laden was under constant pressure from the two brothers who sheltered him. Due to this pressure, he agreed to the plan of changing the place. In a letter written on January 14, 2011, he accepted this situation and expressed his gratitude to the brothers and described their responsibility as a heavy burden. After this, in another letter written on 2 February 2011, he clarified that they were tired of this system and wanted to separate.
How long were you planning to change your place?
Bin Laden also indicated in these letters that he wanted to transfer responsibility for his security to others and move by September 2011. However, at that time American intelligence agencies had no information about this plan. The CIA commented, “If the decision to conduct the raid had been postponed, this story could have had a very different ending.”
How did the intelligence agency achieve success?
After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, American intelligence agencies kept an eye on people associated with Bin Laden’s network. During this period, identifying a reliable courier proved to be the biggest success. After several years of investigation, the link of that courier was found to be linked to a suspicious complex located in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
What increased the suspicion?
This complex of Abbottabad was very unusual. High walls, barbed wire, double gates, opaque windows and lack of internet or phone connection were all signs pointing towards a bigger mystery. Even the garbage on the premises was burnt instead of being thrown outside. On the basis of all these indications, the intelligence agencies concluded that this hideout was being used to hide a big terrorist.
How was the secret preparation for the operation?
After identifying the target, the CIA prepared this mission in detail. An exact replica of the complex was made, so that the attack team could be prepared for every possible situation. On April 29, 2011, the then US President Barack Obama approved this operation, the aim of which was to ensure minimum civilian losses with precise action.
When did bin Laden end?
On May 2, 2011, American special forces flew in from Afghanistan and carried out the operation in Abbottabad. The operation started at around 12:30 in the night. The mission continued despite a helicopter crash. Within nine minutes of the encounter beginning, Bin Laden was killed on the third floor. After this his body was secured and a large quantity of documents and digital material were seized.
Where was the body buried?
After the operation, Bin Laden’s identity was confirmed at several levels. The same day, his body was buried at sea off the USS Carl Vinson in the North Arabian Sea. It is clearly stated in the CIA report that Bin Laden was playing an active role in the operations of Al-Qaeda till his death. He was controlling the organization’s strategy, communications and plans.
