The wait is almost over for Pogues fans; Netflix has finally revealed when the final chapter of Outer Banks will premiere.
The fifth and final season of fan favourite adventure, teen drama will officially drop on August 20.
Alongside the announcement, the streamer unveiled a teaser trailer offering fans a glimpse of what’s ahead.
The newly released trailer for the fifth and final season of Outer Banks delivers an explosive start, with John B. (Chase Stokes) left horrified as Cleo (Carlacia Grant) sets his treasured van ablaze.
Fans will return to the Outer Banks on August 20, with the new season arriving almost two years after the October 2024 launch of Season 4.
Unlike Season 4, which was split into two parts released four weeks apart, the 10-episode final season will drop all at once, allowing fans to binge the series’ farewell chapter.
Fans flooded social media with their reactions, with one saying, “Was not expecting this! THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DAY.”
“One final adventure with the pogues and I’m not ready to say goodbye,” another remarked.
“Not emotionally prepared at all for this,” a third wrote.
