Top AI Job Cities India 2026: According to a report released on Wednesday, Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR together account for more than 50 percent of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related jobs in the country. Of these, Bengaluru’s share alone is 25.4 percent. An analysis of over 64,500 active job listings available on Naukri.com till December 2025 found that Delhi-NCR’s share is 24.8 per cent and Mumbai’s 19.2 per cent, the report by CBRE South Asia Pvt Ltd said.

Including these three cities, about 70 percent of the country’s AI-related jobs are concentrated in these areas. According to the report, engineering (software and quality assurance), data science and analytics and customer success, service and operations are the top three areas driving AI recruitment.

AI is no longer just a technological development

The company says this trend shows that AI is no longer limited to technological development, but is also increasingly being used in the front-end functions of business. According to the report, India is not just writing the code for AI but also deciding how to implement and operate it for global consumers. The impact of increase in AI related jobs is also visible on the demand for office space. Bengaluru led with 26 percent share in office leasing in 2025. Total office leasing activity reached 82.6 million square feet.

Additionally, Bengaluru also accounted for more than one-third of the total GCC (Global Capability Center) leasing activity in the country. Delhi-NCR is seeing strong demand for AI not just in IT but also from various sectors like consulting, fintech, healthcare and public sector.

This transformation will reshape India’s economic structure and its position in the global digital value chain.
