Owaisi expressed his protest against considering Bhojshala as a temple, said – it has been a mosque for 700 years.

Bhopal: After the High Court’s decision regarding the disputed Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Masjid complex located in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, the debate has intensified in the politics and religious organizations of the country. Indore Bench in its decision has considered Bhojshala as the temple of Mother Saraswati, after which the reactions of Hindu and Muslim parties are coming out openly.

After the decision, the matter is now preparing to reach the Supreme Court. While Hindu organizations are calling it historical justice, the Muslim side and many political leaders are raising questions on the decision. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly opposed this decision, while BJP leader Uma Bharti has called it a moment of happiness and pride.

Owaisi said- ‘Mosque for 700 years’

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi challenged the High Court’s decision, saying that Bhojshala has been a mosque for the last 700 years and is a Waqf property. Citing the Gazette of 1935, Waqf Registration and Places of Worship Act, he claimed that the court has ignored many important documents.

Owaisi said that he hopes that the Supreme Court will overturn this decision.

Digvijay Singh raised questions

Congress leader Digvijay Singh said that Bhojshala is a monument protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the Supreme Court should take the final decision on the dispute related to worship and worship.

Questioning the transparency of the ASI report, he said that every decision in this sensitive matter should be based on facts and impartial investigation.

Happiness in Sant Samaj and Hindu organizations

Hindu organizations and Sant Samaj have welcomed the decision of the High Court. Swami Vishnu Das Maharaj called it a victory after a long struggle. Rajesh Shukla of Bhoj Utsav Committee said that now the puja is being done without any hindrance and there is a hope of installing the idol soon.

Uma Bharti expressed happiness

Expressing happiness over the decision, senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister Uma Bharti wrote on social media, “The High Court has considered Dhar’s Bhojshala as Vagdevi temple. All the facts were placed before the court. I am thrilled with this decision, congratulations.”

Muslim side will go to Supreme Court

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, president of All India Muslim Jamaat, opposed the decision and said, ‘Kamal Maula Masjid was, is and will remain till doomsday.’ He said that the Muslim side will challenge this decision in the Supreme Court, however, he also appealed to the society to maintain peace.
