She has been a former national level hockey player and has obtained a Masters degree in Business Management from Oxford University. At the same time, Pundarik Goswami ji was born on 20 July 1988 in Vrindavan in a famous Vaishnav saint family. He was immersed in devotion and storytelling since childhood. Renuka herself had mentioned that they had met in a story telling program through both of their parents. When she was just 20 or 21 years old, she had no special interest in devotion.
