Sahibzada Farhan’s innings of 63 runs

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat and scored 164 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan scored a half century. He scored 63 off 45 balls, which included seven fours and two sixes. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman scored 25 runs each, while Shadab Khan scored 23 runs. Five Pakistani players failed to reach double figures, including Saim Ayub (7) and captain Salman Agha (5). Liam Dawson took three wickets for England. Jofra Archer and Jamie Overton took two wickets each. Adil Rashid also took a wicket.

A chance for England to secure a place in the semi-finals

England have a chance to secure a place in the semi-finals with a win on Tuesday. England currently lead with two points. They beat Sri Lanka by 51 runs in their first match of the Super 8 stage. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s first match against New Zealand was canceled due to rain. Salman Ali Agha-led Pakistan will now need to win both their matches to face the odds.
