Sahibzada Farhan hits a stormy century, Pakistan gives target of 200 to Namibia

PAK vs NAM: The 35th match of T20 World Cup 2026 is being played between Pakistan and Namibia at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo. In this match, Pakistan won the toss and batted first and scored 199 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Sahibzada Fahran scored the most runs for Pakistan. He played a century inning of 100 runs for the team. Now if Namibia wins the match by scoring 200 runs then Pakistan cricket team will be out of the tournament. This century from Farhan’s bat is the first century of T20 World Cup 2026.

Pakistan got a great start

Sahibzada Farhan and Sam Ayub came to open the innings for Pakistan against Namibia. Both of them scored 40 runs in 5.1 overs for the first wicket. The first blow to the team came in the form of Ayub, when he returned to the pavilion after scoring 14 runs in 12 balls with 2 fours. After him, captain Salman Ali Aga along with Sahibzada took the team’s score to 107 in 12.1 overs. The team got the second blow in the form of Captain Salami, when he returned to the pavilion after scoring 38 runs in 32 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Sahibzada Farhan scored a century

Sahibzada Farhan scored a brilliant century for Pakistan. He completed 50 runs in 37 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. He scored a century by completing 100 runs in 57 balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes. This is the first century of his T20 International career and T20 World Cup. Along with this, this is also the first century of T20 World Cup 2026. In this match, Farhan played an unbeaten inning of 100 runs for Pakistan.

After this Shadab Khan came to bat for the team. He played an inning of 36 runs in 22 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes. Jack Brassell took 2 wickets for Namibia. so there captain Gerhard Erasmus took 1 wicket.
