Recently, the title match of FIH Youth Hockey5s Asian Championship was played between India and Pakistan, in which once again the Indian sub-junior team demonstrated its brilliant game and defeated the neighboring country. For some time now, from senior hockey to junior level, Team India’s one-sided dominance against Pakistan has been seen continuously and this time too our young players have created history and captured the gold medal.
India dominates the final match, scores three goals one after the other
From the very beginning of this exciting final match played between India and Pakistan, the Indian team had tightened its grip on the field. Romit Pal, who played brilliantly in the first half of the match, scored an excellent goal and gave Team India a strong 1-0 lead at half time. After this, in the second half also, the Indian players continued their aggressive game and did not let the pace of the match slow down.
In the second half, team captain Ketan Kushwaha scored the second goal brilliantly, after which Shahrukh Ali completely strengthened India’s position by scoring the third goal. In this way the Indian team took a big and decisive lead of 3-0 in the match. Although in the last moments of the match, Pakistan player Muhammad Usman tried to make a comeback by scoring a goal, but by then it was too late. The score remained at 3-1 till full time and thus registering a spectacular victory, the Indian team won the gold medal.
