Half of Pakistan’s team was single-handedly dismissed by 23-year-old Bangladeshi bowler, Pakistan team collapsed for 114 in the first ODI.

PAK vs BAN: The first ODI match of the 3-match ODI series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being played at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl, after which the entire Pakistan team, which came to bowl first, was reduced to just 114 runs in 30.4 overs. Faheem Ashraf played the highest innings of 37 runs for Pakistan. Whereas Bangladesh’s 23-year-old young fast bowler Nahid Rana achieved the feat of taking 5 wickets.

Pakistan had a good start

In this first ODI match against Bangladesh, after losing the toss and coming to bat first, Pakistan’s innings was started by Sahibzada Farhan and Maaz Sadakat. Both of them had given a good start to the team. There was a partnership of 41 runs for the first wicket between the two openers, but after this, Bangladesh’s 23-year-old young fast bowler Nahid Rana wreaked havoc on the Pakistani batsmen and single-handedly sent half the team to the pavilion.

Nahid Rana first dismissed Pakistan’s opener Sahibzada Farhan. Sahibzada Farhan was out after scoring 34 runs in 38 balls. After this, Nahid Rana sent Shamil Hussain to the pavilion on a personal score of 4 runs. Then Nahid made Maaj Sadaqat his victim. Maaz Sadaqat was out after scoring 18 runs on 28 balls.

After this, Nahid Rana showed the way to the pavilion to wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan. Mohammad Rizwan left the pavilion after scoring only 10 runs on 10 balls. After this, Nahid Rana completed his fifth wicket in the form of Salman Agha. Nahid Rana single-handedly guided half of Pakistan’s team to the pavilion on the score of 69 runs.

Mehdi Hasan Miraj dismissed 3 Pakistani batsmen

Even after this, the sequence of wickets falling for the Pakistani team did not stop. Pakistan lost the sixth wicket at the score of 70 runs. Mehdi Hasan Miraj sent Abdul Samad to the pavilion. Abdul Samad was out without opening the account. In the same over, Mehdi Hasan Miraj gave two blows to Pakistan. First he dismissed Hussain Talat on a personal score of 4 runs. Then on the fifth ball he made captain Shaheen Afridi his victim. Shaheen Afridi also left after scoring 4 runs. Then Mohammad Wasim Junior was out without opening the account. He was dismissed by Taskin Ahmed.

Faheem Ashraf saved Pakistan’s shame

Pakistan had lost 9 wickets at the score of 82 runs. From here Faheem Ashraf took charge of Pakistan’s innings for some time and took the team’s score to 114. Faheem Ashraf played an inning of 37 runs in 47 balls and took the team’s score beyond 100.
