Pakistan announced its team for T20 Women’s World Cup, the great competition will start from June 14.

Karachi: Pakistan has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 under the leadership of Fatima Sana. There are five players in this team who are ready to debut in the Women’s T20 World Cup – Ayman Fatima, Natalia Parvez, Ramin Shamim, Saira Jabeen and Tasmiya Rubab. Gul Firozha, who scored two centuries in the recently concluded ODI series against Zimbabwe, will look to strengthen the top order in her second T20 World Cup.

Experienced wicketkeeper batsman Muneeba Ali and batswoman Ayesha Zafar are the other players who are expected to boost Pakistan’s top order. Natalia Parvez, Iram Javed, Alia Riaz and Saira Jabeen are some of the options who can be useful in the middle order. But as has been proved earlier, the strongest team of Pakistan is its bowling. Sadia Iqbal, Nashra Sandhu, Tuba Hasan and Ramin Shamim will lead the spin attack, while Fatima, Diana Baig and Tasmiya Rubab will boost the pace lineup.

Ahead of the tournament, the same team will also play in the triangular between Ireland and West Indies starting on May 28. Pakistan have participated in all editions of the Women’s T20 World Cup so far, but have not yet reached the knockout stage, and will look to do better in this tournament. Their first match in the tournament is against arch-rivals India.
