Pakistan announced test squad against West Indies, 7 major changes
Pakistan has announced its team for the Test series between Pakistan and West Indies. Both the teams are already out of the final of the World Test Championship. Pakistan recently suffered a 2-0 defeat against South Africa, due to which 7 changes have been made in the squad for the West Indies series.
Sam Ayub out of the team
Sam Ayub, who was injured during the series against South Africa, has not been included in the squad this time. PCB says that it wants to see him fully fit before the Champions Trophy 2025. At the same time, Abdulla Shafiq, who is struggling with poor form, has also not been given a place in the team.
Return of Imam-ul-Haq
Imam-ul-Haq played his last Test in 2023, and now he has returned to the team. Imam has scored 1568 runs in 24 test matches so far. At the same time, Sajid Khan and Abrar Ahmed have been given the responsibility in the spin department.
