Pakistan Army DG ISPR Winks at Female Journalist: A video of Pakistan Army DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary is going viral on social media, in which he is being accused of winking at a female journalist during a press briefing. After the video surfaced, many users have strongly criticized it, calling it ‘unprofessional’ and ‘cheap action’.

Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry is the head of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army and has often given strong statements on political and regional issues. Apart from this, he is considered to be a close officer of Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir.

Female journalist winked at press briefing

In the viral clip, the female journalist can be heard asking for a response to a question related to Imran Khan. The journalist asked what was new in the claims that Imran Khan was a ‘threat to national security’, ‘anti-national’ and ‘playing into Delhi’s hands’, and whether any further significant developments could be expected. After hearing the question, according to the video, DG ISPR winked and replied, and to add a fourth thing, he is also a mental patient.

This alleged gesture has sparked debate on social media. Many people said that this is against the dignity of a formal forum like a press conference. Some users commented that this behavior of DG ISPR was a “new low”, while others called it the end of professionalism and questioned whether he was addressing the press or cheap flirting.Overall, he is being trolled heavily on social media.

Created identity by spewing poison against India

General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary’s father allegedly had links with terrorist leader Osama bin Laden. Chaudhary has made his mark mainly through anti-India rhetoric. During Operation Sindoor, he had falsely claimed in the press briefing to have shot down five Indian fighter jets. Apart from this, he often gives controversial and harsh statements against India, due to which his image is completely tarnished by India. Appears to be focused on opposing strategies.
