Pakistan beats UAE by 41 runs in Asia Cup, qualifies for Super 4 Gujarati

Pakistan defeated UAE by 41 runs in the 10th match of Asia Cup 2025 and entered the Super Four. With this victory, the much-awaited match between India and Pakistan has now been confirmed at the Dubai International Stadium on 21st September. Batting first, Pakistan scored 146 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman scored a half-century, while Shaheen Afridi finally scored 29 unbeaten runs in 14 balls. However, Pakistan batted poorly, and six of its batsmen could not reach double figures. Junaid Siddiqui (4/18) and Simranjeet (3/26) bowled brilliantly for UAE.

Chasing the target, UAE team was all out for 105 runs. After the initial defeat, Rahul Chopra (35) and Rahul Parashar (20) raised hopes with a 48-run partnership, but the team lost seven wickets for just 18 runs. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed took two wickets each, while Sam Ayub and captain Salman Agha took one wicket each. With this win, Pakistan has secured a place in the Super Four along with India. Meanwhile, the teams of UAE and Oman are out of the tournament. Now, there is a battle between Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh for the last two places in Group B.
