Questions on Indian Army’s English, Pak officers themselves trolled!

Chaudhary, who is said to be the son of UN-banned terrorist Mahmood Sultan Bashir-ud-Din, was referring to the press conference in which senior officers of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force shared their strategic review and lessons learned a year after the Pahalgam terror attack. 26 people lost their lives in this attack. During this, Indian officials also discussed the impact of Operation Sindoor and the experiences related to it.

What did Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary say?

Chaudhary asked, “Who told you to speak in English? Do you want to tell your story to the world?” His statement indicates that he believes that Indian officials are using English to get their message across at the international level, or that he is objecting to the use of this language.

However, in a multilingual country like India, English is used as a language which makes contact easier. So that people speaking different languages ​​can understand each other and communication can become easier. This comment sparked a flood of reactions on social media, including from people of Pakistan.

Are people trolling Ahmed Sharif?

Former Pakistan Army officer and journalist Adil Farooq Raja reacted to this and said, “When you yourself live in a glass house, you should not throw stones at others.” He also said that in Pakistan Army, all orders from top to bottom are given in English only.

Raja further alleged that Pakistani officials use Urdu to influence their public, while the bulk of propaganda and information is disseminated in English. He also said that ISPR, which is the media wing of Pakistan Army, has been accused of spreading misinformation on a large scale.

Apart from Adil Farooq Raja, many Pakistani social media users also criticized ISPR and its chief. One user wrote, “His English is so weak despite being at a high level.” Another user wrote that he is speaking in English so that your terrorist army does not understand this conversation. While a user writes, how is this a clone army which cannot even speak professionally?
