Pakistan gave a special suggestion to BCCI for Champions Trophy, play the match and return to India.

Sports Desk: Next year in 2025, the Champions Trophy is to be played in Pakistan. Discussions regarding this have been going on ever since ICC gave its hosting rights to Pakistan. However, the matter is not yet clear whether the Indian team will go to Pakistan or not. Pakistan Cricket Board has given a suggestion to BCCI regarding this. He said that you should return to your country after playing the match. You will not have any problem with that.

The PCB has approached the BCCI and put forward a proposal in which if the Indian team does not want to stay in Pakistan due to security reasons, then it can return to either New Delhi or Chandigarh in between the matches. The PCB has verbally suggested to the BCCI that the Indian team can camp in New Delhi or Chandigarh or Mohali and use a special flight to Lahore for its matches.

While talking to the news agency on Friday, a PCB source said that the board has not given any suggestion in writing. The source said that this discussion was done verbally. We want the Indian team to come and play in Pakistan. Whatever options are available for this will be done. The Champions Trophy will be held from February 19 to March 9 in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi.

Pakistan Cricket Board is making every effort to include the Indian team in the Champions Trophy, but the final decision on India's participation has to be taken by the Government of India. The safety of players is a major concern, which has been a cause of tension between the two countries over the years. Pakistan is continuously requesting India that it should come to Pakistan to participate in the Champions Trophy.
