Pakistan has not yet forgotten the wounds of BrahMos, even after a year the fear of ‘Operation Sindoor’ persists, Munir warns India

New Delhi: Pakistan Army has once again been seen trying to show its strength through sharp statements against India. Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir has warned India that if any action is taken in future, it will have far-reaching and painful consequences. His statement has come after completion of one year of India’s Operation Sindoor.

During a program organized at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Asim Munir described the conflict that took place in May last year as a victory for Pakistan. However, the discussion about the military operations carried out by India and the BrahMos missile attacks has once again intensified after this statement.

Tension increased after Operation Sindoor

Last year, after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India had taken precise action against the terrorist bases located in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. During this period, many important military bases of Pakistan were targeted with the help of BrahMos missiles. After these attacks, Pakistan’s military preparedness and security infrastructure suffered a major blow. Even after a year, Pakistan is making continuous statements, which is being seen as a reaction to India’s military operation.

What did Asim Munir say?

In his address, the Pakistani Army Chief said that Pakistan will not make any compromise on its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He said that if India takes any step in future, Pakistan will give a strong and painful reply to it. His statement is also being seen as a political and military message within Pakistan.

Kashmir issue also mentioned

During his speech, Asim Munir also raised the Kashmir issue. He said that the story of Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir and political and diplomatic support will continue on this issue. After his statement, once again the discussion regarding India-Pakistan relations and border tension has intensified.

Trying to save Pakistan’s image?

After India’s Operation Sindoor and BrahMos attacks, Pakistan had to face many questions at the international level. In such a situation, the continuous statements coming from Pakistan are also being seen as an attempt to save its image. However, despite the tense atmosphere between the two countries, the border situation is being continuously monitored.
