Pakistan: Massive suicide blast in Quetta, 26 people killed, more than 70 injured, massive explosion near the railway track caused devastation.

Islamabad. A painful and gruesome terrorist attack took place near Chaman Gate in Quetta, Pakistan, in which Jafar Express was targeted. The attack took place when the train was passing through Quetta Cantt carrying military personnel. This sudden explosion created chaos in the entire area.

Heavy casualties, many injured-
According to reports, at least 26 people died on the spot in the attack, while more than 70 people were seriously injured. The condition of many of the injured is said to be critical.

Train coaches derailed-
The intensity of the explosion was so high that one compartment of the train was completely burnt to ashes. Three coaches including the engine derailed and two coaches overturned. The impact of the blast reached the surrounding area, where about 10 vehicles were damaged and the glass of buildings were broken.

Relief and rescue work continues-
Immediately after the incident, police, security forces and relief teams reached the spot and a search operation was started by cordoning off the area. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals, where treatment is ongoing.

BLA took responsibility of the attack-
Majeed Brigade of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken responsibility for this attack. The organization’s spokesperson Ziand Baloch has accepted responsibility for this suicide attack.

It is being said that a planned attack-
According to security agencies, it was a well-planned suicide attack, which was carried out with the aim of causing maximum damage at the time of passing of the train. At present the entire area has been sealed and investigation is going on.

Railway Minister condemned, claims to continue services-
Pakistan Railway Minister Mohammad Hanif Abbasi strongly condemned the attack, calling it a cowardly terrorist incident. He said relief and rescue operations are going on at full speed and railway services will continue to run normally.
