Pakistan is still haunted by the fear of Operation Sindoor 2.0, counter-drone systems deployed near LoC; Trying to make new purchases from Türkiye and China
The fear of Operation Sindoor is still visible in Pakistan, which is India’s biggest enemy and a haven for terrorists. Alarmed by the precise drone attacks in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan is now deploying counter-drone systems on a large scale in the forward areas of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) along the Line of Control (LoC). Pakistan is afraid of ‘Operation Sindoor 2.0’, hence it has installed new anti-drone equipment in front of Rawalakot, Kotli and Bhimber sectors.
More than 30 anti-drone units deployed
Pakistan has deployed more than 30 special anti-drone units along the LoC. This work is mainly being done by the soldiers of 12th Infantry Division (Murri Headquarters) and 23rd Infantry Division. The brigade of 23rd Division is handling the work in Kotli-Bhimber area. Its purpose is to strengthen aerial surveillance and electronic warfare near the LoC.
