Tahir Andrabi said that Pakistan has targeted terrorist organizations and their bases inside Afghanistan, and it is its legitimate right to do so. According to him, Pakistan’s action has been precise, targeted and within the legal ambit. He also alleged that India supports some terrorist networks operating from Afghan soil. According to Andrabi, India is disappointed with the destruction of these networks, hence it is criticizing Pakistan’s action.

The Pakistani spokesperson also mentioned the Indus Water Treaty and Kashmir issue in his statement. He alleged that India was violating its responsibilities under the Indus Water Treaty and using water as a weapon. According to him, such steps of India are posing a threat to peace and stability not only in Afghanistan but in the entire region.
