Operation Sindoor: Terrorism is trying to please its masters! After America, credit for ceasefire was given to China

Pakistan has now made a new claim regarding the India-Pakistan conflict (Operation Sindoor) that took place in May 2025. This time Islamabad is saying that China played the role of mediator in stopping the conflict. The question is, if it was so, then why did Pakistan remain silent for almost a year? This statement tells the story of Pakistan’s nervousness and changing masters more than the truth.

Till now, Pakistan kept giving full credit for the cessation of this conflict to America and the then President Donald Trump. But now the same Pakistan is hitting back and matching the tune of Beijing. This clearly shows that Pakistan’s foreign policy is not based on principles but on the convenience of changing owners.

Diplomacy to appease China

Pak Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi claimed that the Chinese leadership was in constant touch with Pakistan and was also talking to India. Pakistan supported this claim of China by calling it “diplomacy for peace”. In fact, this statement seems more like an attempt to please China and less like a fact.

India’s clear stand: no third party

India has made it clear from the beginning that the decision to stop military action was not taken with the mediation of any third country. According to New Delhi, the ceasefire happened on the appeal of Pakistan’s DGMO, and not at the behest of Washington or Beijing. India had also completely rejected the claim of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, in which there was talk of China’s mediation.

late statement

This “first official statement” of Pakistan raises many questions in itself. If China was really playing a decisive role in May 2025, then why was this not said at that time? Making this claim suddenly after a year shows that Pakistan is trying to convert its failure and military pressure into diplomatic victory.

Old trick of China-Pakistan alliance

Pakistan openly said that it “strongly supports” China’s position. This is the same Pakistan, which has been blindly supporting China’s statements on every international forum. Be it against India or the issue of proving its relevance in global diplomacy.

America vs Beijing: Pakistan’s dilemma

Interestingly, this claim of China matches with the statements of US President Trump, in which he called himself a hero for stopping the India-Pakistan conflict. The only difference is that Pakistan is no longer able to decide whose favor it should owe more – America or China. This exposes its strategic confusion.

Pakistan’s story has not changed

The reality is that India made a decisive advance in Operation Sindoor and under the same pressure, Pakistan had to request for de-escalation. Neither America nor China stopped the war. This new claim of Pakistan is just a story fabricated for its domestic and international audience, which India has already rejected with facts.
