Pakistan: Violence between tribal groups in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, 37 people died
Pakistan : 37 people have been killed and many have been injured in violence between tribal groups in Pakistan's restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. According to reports, violence broke out between Alizai and Bagan tribal groups after an attack on a passenger van on Thursday in Kurram district bordering Afghanistan. 47 people were killed in the attack on the passenger van.

According to reports, after the incident, top officials have reached the area by helicopter. An official told the media here, “At least 37 people have been killed so far.” The death toll is still increasing, he said, adding that more than 30 people have been injured. People of tribal communities are targeting each other using automatic weapons. Houses and shops were targeted in the violence, following which people from various villages have moved to safer places.
