Pakistan vs Australia ODI: Many stalwarts including Babar Azam failed in the second match, series leveled at 1-1 due to the lethal bowling of Nathan Ellis.

The three-match One Day International series being played between Pakistan and Australia has now reached an exciting turn, where in the second match, Australia made a spectacular comeback by defeating host Pakistan by 41 runs and leveled the series at 1-1. The hero of Australia’s victory in this match was fast bowler Nathan Ellis, who completely shook Pakistan’s batting order with his lethal bowling.

Batting first in this match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Australia team could score only 231 runs after losing 9 wickets in 50 overs. Although the team had a very poor start and the first wicket fell for just 1 run, but after this Cameron Green and Josh Inglis took over the team by playing important innings. Green scored 53 runs and Inglis scored 51 runs, while some small contributions from the lower order helped the team reach 231.

Pakistan got off to a good start in bowling, where captain Shaheen Afridi provided early success. He took three wickets to his name, while Haris Rauf, Arafat Minhas and other bowlers also took wickets, but they could not completely stop the Australian batsmen from scoring big.

However, in the middle order, all-rounder Shadab Khan played a struggling inning of 71 runs, while wicketkeeper batsman Ghazi Ghori added 37 runs. Arafat Minhas also contributed 33 runs, but this effort was not enough for the win. The entire team was bundled out for 190 runs and Australia won the match by 41 runs.

Australia’s bowling Nathan Ellis Made the biggest impact and took 4 important wickets. Apart from him, Matthew Short completely broke Pakistan’s middle order by taking 3 wickets. Adam Zampa and other bowlers also maintained the pressure by bowling economically.
