New Delhi. Due to the brilliant century innings of Sameer Minhas and the bowling performance of Ali Raza, Pakistan won the Under-19 Asia Cup title by defeating India by 191 runs in the final. The match was played at the ICC Academy in Dubai, where India won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan scored 347 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs, in which Sameer Minhas played important innings of 172 and Ahmed Hussain of 56 runs. In response, the Indian team lost the match by being all out for 156 runs.

India had defeated Pakistan in the group stage, but Pakistan won one-sidedly in the final.
