Pakistan won U-19 Asia Cup for the second time, defeated India by 191 runs in the final.

After the century innings of Sameer Minhas, Pakistan won the Under-19 Asia Cup by defeating India by 191 runs in the final on the basis of brilliant performance by the bowlers led by Ali Raza. In the match played at the ICC Academy in Dubai, India won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. The team led by Farhan Yousaf scored 347 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs with the help of a century by Sameer Minhas (172) and a half-century by Ahmed Hussain (56). In reply, the Indian team was all out after scoring 156 runs in 26.2 overs.
India remained unbeaten in the entire tournament, but their winning campaign was stopped by Pakistan in the final. India had defeated Pakistan in the group stage, but in the title match, Pakistan won in a one-sided manner. With this, Pakistan won the title of this tournament for the second time. Earlier he had become joint winner in 2012. India were joint winners with Pakistan in 2012 as the match was tied then.
While chasing the target, Vaibhav Suryavanshi gave an aggressive start, but Ali Raza gave the first blow to India by dismissing Ayush Mhatre. Mhatre was out after scoring two runs. Then Aaron George also got out after scoring 16 runs. After this, Raza gave the third blow to India by dismissing Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was out after scoring 26 runs in 10 balls with the help of one four and three sixes. Five Indian batsmen could reach double figures. Interestingly, the last batsman Deepesh Devendran scored the most runs for India. He scored 36 runs in 16 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes. For Pakistan, Ali Raza took four wickets while Mohammad Syam, Abdul Subhan and Huzaifa Ahsan took two wickets each.
Earlier, opening batsman Sameer Minhas once again showed great talent and scored a century, which helped Pakistan set a huge target for India. Minhas, one of the best performers in the tournament for the team, scored 172 runs in 113 balls and this is his second century in the tournament. He attacked every bowler, and was especially more aggressive against the new ball bowlers Kishan Singh and Deepesh Devendran. Minhas’s innings included 17 fours and nine sixes. Apart from Minhas, Ahmed Hussain played an inning of 56 runs for Pakistan. He completed his century in 71 balls by hitting a four off Devendran in the 29th over. For India, Deepesh Devendran took three wickets while Henil Patel and Khilan Patel got two wickets each. Whereas, Kanishk Chauhan took one wicket in his name.
