In a viral video on social media, a reporter asks Nabeel Gabol, ‘There is a film made in India called ‘Dhurandhar’, in which your character is discussed.’ Nabeel replied, ‘My character is shown to be important in the film, but in reality my role is much more powerful.’ The character played by Rakesh Bedi in the film has been shown to be greedy for power and corrupt.

Nabil Gabol further says in the video, ‘An attempt has been made in the film to show Lyari as a terrorist centre. That is why GCC and Arab countries have banned the film. We can raise this issue on the international platform, but it requires a lot of money and I do not have money.
