Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Saturday (April 4, 2026) once again threatened India and said that if India tries to conduct any false flag operation, then Pakistan will attack India’s eastern metropolis Kolkata. This statement of Pakistani Defense Minister has come after Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh warned the country’s neighbors to avoid any misadventure.
According to the report of news agency PTI, while talking to journalists in Sialkot, Khawaja Asif said, ‘If India tries to conduct any false flag operation this time, then Inshallah we will attack it on Kolkata. He said, ‘If India plans to conduct any false flag operation through its own people or through Pakistani people kept in its custody, like keeping dead bodies somewhere and claiming that they were terrorists, then Pakistan will respond by attacking till Kolkata.’
In fact, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday (April 2, 2026) had given a strong warning to India’s neighbor without naming Pakistan. He had said that decisive action would be taken against any kind of misadventure. This warning has been given by India at a time when conflict is increasing in West Asia after the attacks on Iran by America and Israel in February.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said, ‘In the current situation, our neighbor can carry out any kind of misadventure and if this happens, India’s action will be unprecedented and decisive.’ Addressing the Sainik Samman Sammelan organized in Kerala amid the election atmosphere, the Defense Minister also said that Operation Sindoor is not over yet. He said, ‘Just as the terrorists had targeted people on the basis of religion in Pahalgam, this attack was not just an attack on India but also on the social cohesion and social unity of the country.’
