Palak Cheese Paratha Recipe: Paratha is the most favorite morning breakfast in the homes of us Indians. Whenever we leave the house after having such a heavy breakfast, our stomach remains full for a long time and we also feel good in work. We all try many varieties of paratha, among which potato paratha is made in every home. Apart from this, parathas made of cabbage, peas and paneer are also very much liked. Material

Spinach-1 cup finely chopped
Wheat flour-1 cup
Cheese-½ cup grated (mozzarella or processed cheese)
Green chilli-1 (finely chopped, optional)
Ginger-1 tsp (grated)
Celery-½ tsp
Red chilli powder-½ tsp
Garam masala-½ tsp
Salt – as per taste
Oil-1 tsp (for moyan)
Ghee or oil for baking paratha

Method

  1. Take flour in a big vessel. Add chopped spinach, ginger, green chilli, celery, salt and all the spices in it.
  2. Add some oil and mix everything well. If necessary, add water little by little and knead a soft dough. Keep covered for 10 minutes. Keep the grated cheese aside.
  3. Make balls of dough. Roll out lightly, fill the center with cheese and close the edges. Roll out slowly and shape into paratha.
  4. Put paratha on hot pan. Apply ghee or oil on both sides and bake until golden and crisp. Serve it hot with curd, green chutney or tomato sauce.
