It will be difficult to make a new PAN card from April 1

But now from tomorrow this facility will change completely. The government has said in clear words that from tomorrow it will be necessary to provide extra documentation to get a new PAN card. Actually, the Income Tax Department is now making the verification process even stronger, due to which now a new PAN card will not be made without any concrete evidence.
These documents will be needed
According to the new rules, now to get a new PAN card, you will have to provide proof of your date of birth. For this you can give your 10th mark sheet or birth certificate. Apart from this, Voter ID card or driving license will also be valid for identification. If you do not have any of these documents, there is no need to panic. You also have other options available. You can attach an affidavit signed by the magistrate.
Old forms will not be valid
Apart from this, PAN applications older than April 1, 2026 will not be valid in any way. If you have already filled these old forms, then complete them and submit them today, otherwise they will be of no use from tomorrow. From tomorrow, a new form will be given to make a new PAN card, which will be completely valid.

Only the name of Aadhar card will be printed on the PAN card.
