- Paneer – 250 grams (cut into cubes)
- Tomato – 4 (pureeed)
- Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
- Cashews – 10-12 (soaked)
- Butter – 2-3 spoons
- Cream – 1/2 cup
- Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – as per taste
- Kasuri Methi – 1 teaspoon
- Oil – 1 teaspoon
How to make Paneer Butter Masala
Paneer Butter Masala is the perfect dish for special occasions. To prepare this, first put tomatoes and soaked cashew nuts in a mixer and make a smooth paste. This paste will make your gravy creamy and rich.
Put butter and some oil in a pan and heat it. Add finely chopped onion to it and fry until it turns golden. Now add ginger-garlic paste and cook till aroma comes out. After this, add prepared tomato-cashew paste and cook well, until the masala starts releasing oil.
Now add turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder and salt. Mix the spices well and cook for a few minutes. After this add the cheese pieces and mix gently so that the cheese does not break.
Now add cream to the gravy and mix well. Add Kasoori Methi and Garam Masala on top and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes. This will give the dish a restaurant-like flavor.
