There was a stir due to the blast at Delhi’s Jaffrabad metro station, this was the real reason for the blast.

There was chaos at Jaffrabad metro station located in the north-eastern area of Delhi on Wednesday evening when a loud bang-like sound was heard at around 6:05 pm. Initially, an atmosphere of fear was created among the passengers and the people present nearby, but after some time investigation the situation became clear and a sigh of relief was felt.

Accident happened due to kite string

Investigation revealed that it was not an explosion or a conspiracy, but the incident occurred because of children flying kites nearby. The kite’s string got stuck in the overhead power lines of the metro, causing sparks and a ‘bang’ effect with a faint sound. This incident happened on the metro line going towards Burari, where sparking in the electric wires created a dangerous situation for some time.

Security agencies activated immediately

As soon as information about the incident was received, CISF and Delhi Police teams reached the spot. Keeping safety in mind, all the passengers present at the station were immediately evacuated. Officials inspected the entire area and ensured that no major threat existed.

No casualties, services restored soon

There is no news of anyone getting injured or any kind of loss in this incident. As a precautionary measure, metro services were stopped for some time, but after the investigation was completed within about half an hour, the services were normalized. A major accident was averted due to the prompt action of the administration.

Denial of possibility of conspiracy

After investigating the matter, the officials clarified that there is no conspiracy or suspicious activity involved in it. CISF and police jointly inspected the spot and investigated all aspects and declared it an accidental incident.

Administration’s appeal: Do not fly kites near the metro

After the incident, the administration has appealed to the citizens not to fly kites around the metro tracks and stations. Officials say that Manjha can cause serious accidents by getting entangled in electrical wires, which not only affects metro services but can also put the safety of passengers at risk.

Big danger averted by vigilance

This incident once again shows that even small carelessness can cause great danger. However, due to timely action and alertness, the situation was quickly brought under control and a possible major accident was averted.
