Panic in Punjab: Political uproar due to warehouse manager’s death, minister resigns as soon as his name appears in the video, know the whole matter
Chandigarh. A tragic incident has created a big political storm in Punjab. Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, manager of Amritsar-based Punjab Warehouse, swallowed sulfas late on Friday night. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment on Saturday morning.
Minister’s name in the video before death-
In a video made before his death, Randhawa has taken the name of Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar. As soon as this video surfaced, the matter escalated and created a stir in the political circles.
CM’s big decision: Minister’s resignation-
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took immediate action and took the resignation of Minister Laljit Bhullar.
The CM clearly said that the investigation will not be allowed to be affected under any circumstances and the government has not come to power to harass the officials.
Police investigation started, every aspect under eye-
As soon as information about the incident was received, police and administrative officials reached the hospital and started investigating the matter. Officials say that an impartial investigation is being conducted keeping every aspect in mind.
Opposition attack intensified-
After the incident, MP Gurjit Singh reached Aujla Hospital and targeted the government. He said that the allegations related to corruption are very serious and an impartial investigation is necessary.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira has demanded immediate registration of a criminal case against the minister and his arrest. He alleged that Randhawa was mentally and physically tortured, which led him to commit suicide.
Akali Dal also attacked-
Regarding the matter, senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia has also given a sharp reaction on social media, attacking the government.
