New Delhi: A major announcement is about to be made within the Uttar Pradesh BJP, generating widespread buzz. The BJP will soon have a new state president. Senior party leader and Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary is expected to be the nominee.

On Saturday, Pankaj Chaudhary formally filed his nomination at the BJP office in Lucknow. So far, he is the only candidate to file his nomination for the post of BJP president, making his election unopposed almost certain.

Following the nomination process, Pankaj Chaudhary dropped several important hints in an interview with a news channel. He clarified that the process is currently ongoing.

A formal announcement will be made by the central leadership on Sunday afternoon. Chaudhary stated that whatever responsibility the organization assigns him, he will fulfill it with complete dedication and honesty.

Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary clarified that it would be inappropriate to discuss any detailed strategy before assuming organizational responsibility. He also stated that he filed his nomination at the behest of the organization. Chaudhary added that all MPs and MLAs were called to Lucknow at the organizational level.

The organization told me I should file my nomination. I did so. Chaudhary also commented on the media speculation, saying that news reports and the organisation’s decision are two different things.
