The makers of Pankaj Tripathi starrer film oh my dogg have launched the trailer of the film. The trailer starts with a sound saying come to me my friends and listen to a story. Then there is a scene of some dogs barking together. Pankaj Tripathi’s entry is with a very simple look.

After this the sound starts again, it was going somewhere passing through the forests. Then there is a scene of a girl who sees that there are posters of missing dog on the board. Pankaj Adhikari is talking to a police officer. The girl who was looking at the poster goes in search of the dog. Lastly, the film ends with some scenes and background music.

Apart from Pankaj, Mahi Rai, Geeta Aggarwal Sharma, Vijay Mishra are in lead roles in the film. Directed by Amit Rai (best known for ‘OMG 2’), the 2026 film ‘Ohh My Dog’ is a heart-warming family drama based on the unexpected bond formed between a child and a stray dog. The story shows how this friendship begins an emotional journey that warms hearts and celebrates empathy, loyalty and the bond between man and animal.

The story is primarily based on a little girl and her deep, heart-touching relationship with a stray animal. More than 250 dogs were included in this production, with special attention given to two dog stars named Oscar and Bruno. The film emphasizes the loyalty, unconditional love and companionship between humans and dogs. It shows how animals can bring hope and deep comfort to people’s lives. It is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide on July 31, 2026.

At the trailer launch event, Pankaj said that when filmmaker Amit Rai approached him, he immediately agreed to be a part of the project as the film’s themes of unconditional love, trust and loyalty affected him deeply. Pankaj said that the bond between humans and pets is a special relationship which should be shown on screen.

Talking about the film at this event, director Amit Rai said, “I wanted to tell a story through ‘Oh My Dog’ that would be relatable to every family. The relationship between a child and a dog is the purest form of love, based on trust, innocence and unwavering loyalty. Through this film, we want to make the audience laugh and cry, and want them to leave the theater with a little more kindness in their hearts. Not just for animals. For ourselves, but also for each other.”
