Lock of luck opened in Panna, farmer found precious diamond worth crores
Panna News: Farmers’ luck has once again shone in Panna district of Madhya Pradesh, which is world famous for its diamond mines. Farmer Dilip Mistry and his colleagues have found a precious diamond of 7 carats 44 cents, whose estimated value is around Rs 20 lakh. This diamond will be put in the auction starting from December 4. Dilip told that he had started mining in his farm during the lockdown and since then he has extracted dozens of diamonds.
Will use auction money for children’s future
Dilip Mistry said that the happiness of finding the diamond cannot be expressed in words. He told that he will spend the money received from the auction for the education and better future of his children. Diamond expert Anupam Singh has described it as excellent in terms of shine, size and quality. This diamond will be included in the upcoming auction, where it will be bid for.
Diamonds will be auctioned in Panna from December 4.
The process of diamond auction will start from December 4 in Panna district. 78 diamonds will be put up in this auction, whose total weight is 221.07 carats and the estimated value is more than Rs 3 crore 53 lakh. To participate in the auction, an advance amount of Rs 5,000 will have to be deposited. The highest bidder will have to deposit 20% amount immediately and the remaining amount will have to be paid within 30 days. The largest diamond of 32.80 carats and the second largest diamond of 19.22 carats will be the center of attraction in the auction.
