Parcel wagon derailment of goods train at city station, half a dozen trains including Utkal-Nauchandi affected

A wagon of a parcel goods train going for maintenance in the yard of City Station derailed on Wednesday. The wagons of the goods train were empty. Fortunately, there was no damage or accident.

Half a dozen trains including Utkal, Nauchandi got delayed due to derailment of goods train. Nauchandi Express left City Station at 12:00 noon. Information about derailment of goods train was given to Delhi Control Room from where Rail Mobile Break Down Special reached Meerut and started the work of removing the wagon from the track.
