Why is Pakistan Airlines' latest ad hitting the Eiffel Tower in the news for all the wrong reasons?
A post by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announcing the resumption of flights to France has garnered widespread reactions on social media. The post, which shows a plane heading towards the Eiffel Tower with the words “Paris, we are coming today”, has sparked criticism on social media.
Meanwhile, according to a report by Geo TV, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered an investigation into the matter following widespread condemnation of the poorly designed advertisement.

PIA leaves for Europe for the first time in four years
Pakistan International Airlines has returned to Europe for the first time in four years after a four-year ban by EU regulators.
In June 2020, PIA was suspended from operations in Europe and banned from traveling to 188 countries due to a fatal accident among 262 pilots and fake licenses.
