Latest News :- Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has said that the winter session of Parliament will begin on November 25 and end on December 20. Minister Kiren Rijiju today said that on the recommendation of the Government of India, the President has approved the proposal to hold the winter session of Parliament from November 25 to December 20 (subject to Parliamentary exigencies). Following the adoption of the Constitution on the occasion of its 75th anniversary on November 26, a special celebration will be organized in the Central Hall of the Constituent Assembly on Constitution Day.

Meanwhile, it is expected that if the deadline given in the last parliamentary joint session for the Waqf Amendment Bill is properly followed, then the report of the joint committee will be presented in the Parliament on November 29. It is noteworthy that this is the first parliamentary session to be held ten years after the assembly elections in four states and assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and the formation of the National Conference Party-Congress coalition government.
