Amethi. IPS Shambhavi Mishra: Every year lakhs of candidates appear for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Only a few of them become successful and fulfill their dreams. In 2018, Shambhavi Mishra, a girl from Uttar Pradesh, passed the UPSC exam after years of hard work. Their success story is very inspiring for every batch. He had passed the UPSC exam twice.

Shambhavi Mishra is a resident of Amethi (IPS Shambhavi Mishra), a famous district of Uttar Pradesh. It was a bit difficult for him to realize his dreams. He passed 12th from Science. Then took admission in B.Tech and obtained engineering degree. In the third year of B.Tech, he decided to crack the civil services examination.

After passing B.Tech in 2017, Shambhavi Mishra (IPS Shambhavi Mishra) joined a bank as PO. In the same year he had to appear for his first UPSC exam. His exam was due within a week of starting the job. Her preparation was so intense that she cleared UPSC Prelims and Mains in her very first attempt but failed in the interview. After this he decided to leave the job but the regional head stopped him and assured him of full support.

The posting where Shambhavi Mishra got was 42 km away from her home. It took him about 4 hours to travel from home to the bank. She used to read the newspaper while going to the bank in the morning and read the notes while returning. There was no public transport from his village to the bank location. So she used to commute by car and study whenever she got time.

Shambhavi Mishra secured 199th rank in 2018 UPSC exam. With this he got IPS cadre. In 2019 she went to Labasana and then to the police academy in Hyderabad for training. Even after this he made another attempt for the UPSC exam. She hoped she could do better. He secured 116th rank in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021.
