Passengers traveling in Shatabdi Express without tickets during festivals, investigation started
To travel in any train, passengers are required to have a ticket, but a case has come to light in which passengers were allowed to travel in TT after taking money. North Central Railway (NCR) has informed that the chief train ticket examiner had allowed passengers without tickets to travel.
Permission to travel in premium trains during festivals
It has been informed that during the festivals, many passengers were allowed to travel without tickets by the chief train ticket examiner in the New Delhi-Lucknow Swarn Shatabdi Express train going from Tundla to Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. In return money was collected from them.
Railway officials have said that this information was received during the surprise check on October 29. About 21 passengers were traveling without tickets in C-11 coach. Many passengers who did not have tickets started deboarding at Etawah. An investigation has been ordered in this matter and legal action will be taken against the accused.
