Patagonia’s Terravia bag transitions from a hip pack to a crossbody bag with a few simple adjustments. It has a zippered front security pocket for cash or credit cards, a clip for keys and a larger interior compartment for your wallet and phone. It’s even designed to roll into itself to take up as little space as possible in a suitcase.
Houdini Stash Half-Zip Jacket

Ideal for spring when the weather sits somewhere between hot and cold, this lightweight layer is a must-buy if you love to go on long hikes. It’s highly breathable, with vents built into the front and back, but still water-repellent if you accidentally get caught in a rainstorm.
